Home My Story My Experiences What I Did Resources Self Help

This web site is a work in progress and more information
is being added as time permits.

My name is Sue.

For the last 20 years I have worked as an alternative health practitioner and healer.

I am qualified in homoeopathy, kinesiology, crystal therapy and various forms of healing, including Reiki, Angelic Reiki, Shamanic Healing and Magnified Healing.

During 2011 and 2012 I had a journey with breast cancer.

The first time around, in January 2011, I had a lumpectomy, followed by radiotherapy. I was border-line for chemotherapy, so declined. Due to the nature of the cancer (triple negative) there was no medication that could be offered to me. I used my knowledge of various therapies to support myself through the hospital procedures, my healing and progress towards health.

Unfortunately in June 2012 I had a re-occurrence of the tumour, but in a position adjacent to the sternum, making it impossible to operate unless it was reduced in size. Biopsy and CT scan confirmed it was malignant and in a difficult location. Radiotherapy was ruled out, as the new tumour was within the area covered by the previous radiotherapy. Again, no medication was available due to the type of tumour. The only option offered by the hospital was chemotherapy to shrink the tumour, then maybe an operation, but its location would make it challenging. For several reason I did not want to have the chemo.

As soon as I received the diagnosis of the re-occurrence I started on an aggressive programme of strict diet, supplements, homoeopathy and visualisations and anything else I could do. I spent hours researching on the internet what I could do for myself.

The hospital was very supportive and suggested I went away for 3 months and 'did my thing', then returned for a second CT scan to monitor the situation. Chemo always being an option. 3 months passed and I had another CT scan. To everybody's surprise the tumour had shrunk from 28mm x 18mm to 21mm x 12mm. The consultant again offered chemo and talked more positively about having an operation. A PET scan was suggested to check the extent of the cancer in my body (so far no secondaries had been found). Eventually I had the scan in February 2013.

In March 2013 the consultant confirmed that "there was no evidence of disease" within my body. The tumour area was described by the radiologist as "very subtle soft tissue thickening", the tumour had gone.

In 9 months I had rid myself of cancer using a naturopathic approach and no conventional medicine. Today I feel very fit, healthy and energetic. The best I have felt for many, many years.

The hospital has asked me to return every 6 months, in order to keep an eye on my situation.

This website came about because so many people wanted to know what I had done for myself. I have detailed my story and protocol and given details of the resources (books, web sites etc) that I found helpful. But would like to point out that this web site details my personal journey with cancer and the naturopathic programme I followed. It is for interest only and does not make any claims or suggestions about the treatment of cancer for other people. If you have any questions or concerns about your own health, cancer symptoms or treatment, please discuss them with your own GP or health care professionals.

I have however included a self help section, that details adjunctive things you can do for yourself, for your own self-empowerment. These are suggestions that may help with emotional states, or side effects of conventional treatment, areas that are ignored by the conventional medical system. These suggestions are not intended to treat the actual cancer state, just to help make your journey with cancer a little easier.
